There are also keyboard instruments which can be hired for specific occasions.
A sophisticated electronic instrument by Copeman Hart with seven speaking stops and two harpsichord stops; sound is delivered through two free-standing speakers.
The specification makes it especially appropriate for continuo use, and ‘baroque pitch’ can be established at the flick of a switch.

We now house a fine modern harpsichord from Finchcocks which is available for hire but must be kept at ‘baroque pitch’.

A sweet-toned French instrument at A=440 – ideal for the Rossini Petite Messe Solennelle and the Dvorak Bagatelles.
